The Heart & Soul

Where imagination & intentionality meet, magic happens.

It’s a beautiful thing that the wedding industry has evolved to where you can truly make it your own, just as unique as your own relationship.  A wedding should be a reflection of you in every way possible, by incorporating all the most meaningful details and nothing that doesn’t speak to you…a sweet harmony of sentimentality, design, and logistics to create the most memorable moments in the spirit of love, joy and connection. I’m here to help make that happen, however you’d like to do it, and whoever you are.  All love stories are welcomed and celebrated here.

NICOLE

I’ve always said that the energy I put out has been the energy I receive back, which has made me incredibly fortunate to work with so many very rad couples who let me dream with them and make the vision a reality.

I’m drawn to creating work that is bold and intentional, invoking senses of whimsy, joy, and romanticism, whether that’s with a design or even an epic timeline (or as I like to call it, the Master Plan).

Sometimes ethereal, sometimes edgy, always imaginative and completely unique and dreamy. I’m always down to get weird and artsy too, just putting that out there.

WHO ARE FRANCES & FRANCIS?

I’ve always loved rummaging through family photos and nostalgia since I was a kid. One day a few years ago I came across a tattered old album in my grandparents’ attic that I’ve never noticed before. It was full of maybe a hundred or more antique postcards, all face forward with their notes hidden. Even my grandma didn't know much about them but decided it was time to preserve them better.

With each delicate postcard carefully removed, a story unfurled that slowly revealed more and more of our family history. Almost all of them were essentially love letters between my great-great grandparents, Frances and Francis, during their sometimes long-distance courtship, up until a bit after they married. Some were simple and sweet, some were even a bit cheeky, all were fascinating to me.

We learned about who they were as young folks in love, where they lived, and how they spent their time. Suddenly we had an intimate glimpse into their private lives, their thoughts, and sense of humor. To hold these pieces of paper in my hands that my ancestors scribbled on over 120 years ago, to have a window into the past, our family’s past…it was thrilling.

With that inspiration of authentic and timeless love, I give you Frances Loves Francis. Now let’s tell your love story.

Inspired by a century-old love story, and now by your love story.
